Original Hadrill & Horstmann Desk Lamp

This is great example of an original Hadrill and Horstmann counterpoise lamp. It is constructed from polished aluminium and steel with a barrel weighted counterbalance and a C-shaped fork.

This is an iconic British mid-century industrial design produced primarily from the 1940s to the 1950s. It is most famous for its distinctive barrel-shaped counterweight mechanism that moves smoothly along a curved track to balance the lamp at various angles.

The lamp has been re-wired and “PAT” tested.
