No Smoking Theatre Lights

We reclaimed these no smoking lights from the Apollo theatre in Londons West End. They were originally hung above the two stalls exits.

The glass is lit from the lamp, which is concealed in the tube above the glass, this illuminates the glass exaggerating the etched writing within.

The light remained on throughout the theatres performance, as it was so subtle as to not become a distraction for the performers or audience.
